Kumanu | The Source: Eric Zimmerman

Recently on The Source, we caught up with Eric Zimmerman, Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Commercialization Officer at Kumanu. The company’s purpose is setting out to help people live bigger lives, build stronger organizations and help employees find a deeper sense of purpose.

Eric relays the founder of Kumanu’s story of “having a moment of personal crisis and finding a deeper sense of ‘why’ and ‘how I can bring my best to the things that matter most each day.’ It turns out that is catalytic to what we are trying to do for health and well-being.”

Over time, Eric has noticed that they have “more clients in healthcare, higher ed, high tech industries – organizations that are leaning on the experience of their people and wanting to think beyond what they’ve done in the past, like a benefits constrained version of offerings.”

Eric states that companies need to “get well-being out the box you put it in. Exercise and nutrition are all good, but one thing we’ve learned over that past few years is that mental and social well-being is overall well-being. Look for a solution that is more unifying around those things.”
