DependentIQ | Srini Venkatramani
On The Source we caught up with Srini Venkatramani, the Chief Product and Technology Officer for PlanSource.
In our most recent product release, we unveiled DependentIQ, a brand new product that instantly verifies dependents with AI-powered eligibility verification. DependentIQ leverages technology and artificial intelligence to help manage employer costs. Srini says, “we’ve seen in industry analyses that as high as 10% of dependents are ineligible when conducting an audit.”
One big component with AI is preventing bias. Srini explains, “to prevent any biases we did two things with DependentIQ: we are training the machine learning tools with the hypothesis that documents will pass the inspection. Second, we made the workflow so that no document is denied automatically. If the system is unsure, the document is sent to a human to be checked.”
